We called the Star Mount folks & said we were only 2 1/2 hours away & could we deliver it. They said come on down so we drove over to their office. They took the unit apart & NO WATER DAMAGE! Brandon, who is a real pro on these devices hooked up a power station of theirs & my Starlink fired right up & worked great. So he came out & looked at my hookup & said I did everything right BUT that these Starlinks are real finicky about power.

He recommended I power it with a separate device & recommended a chinese one that they use & claim it's more reliable than any of the expensive ones. I put the Starlink back on the car & hooked it up more directly & it works great. So I'll just hook it up this way until I can get one like theirs. That actually will be very easy for me to do.

We are going up to the town of Joshua Tree tomorrow & stay Tue & Wed at an RV park, then to Cottonwood Campground (the climbers campground) on Thu night, then back to the RV park Fri & Sat, then to 29 Palms on Sun & Mon (17th & 18th). We will be doing hikes each day around wherever we are & whatever interests us. All electronics working now so no issues with that. Probably won't post again for awhile unless we have something interesting to say.
