Shower Feature Wall with Decorative Tile

Week of July 8th

Brian, the tile master, is working on the bathroom. The plumber and electrician have done some work, as well. One mistake: we were supposed to get a curb-less shower, but Chris goofed and didn’t track that and make sure the floor was able to be lowered. In the end it was going to be a big to-do to fix this error (Chris offered to do whatever), so Yeti just said not to bother. So, Brian said he could lower the step as much as he could and we’re going to live with that. Kind of a disappointment, however.

I worked with Brian to set a pattern for the one wall of the shower with decorative tile. The floor tile looks great. The other walls of the shower are a simple white: Catch Ice Glass is the name of the subway tile. I went with a horizontal stacked pattern here, very simple.

I’m very happy with the tile and Yeti is too. Painting continued. Next week – flooring begins.
