Vanity with Medicine Cabinet and Sconces

Week of July 29th

All of the cabinets are installed, and the guys are working on setting and aligning the cabinet doors, adding the cabinet pulls, and putting in the cap on top of the cabinets. We okay’d the template, so the fabrication shop should be able to start cutting the Quartz for the kitchen countertops and the bathroom vanities/backsplash. We have a different tile for the kitchen backsplash.

Chris is also painting the bathroom – staying with the Mauve Finery – the color we had before. Now, the tile guy can come back and finish off his work in the bathroom. He’ll finish the backsplash in the kitchen once the counters are installed.

Most of the floor is laid with the exception of the main bedroom and the quarter-round. That should arrive early next week.

Next to do in the bathroom: the electrician and the final plumbing. Chris seems to think we are on track, so I took a chance and scheduled the move back into the house for the last week of August.

Yeti still hopes to move into the back bedroom once the quarter-rounds are installed next week.

Progress by the end of the week: The floor in the main bedroom is now finished, the living room fan with light and dining room light installed, microwave is installed, medicine cabinets and sconces are installed in main bathroom and laundry room is painted.
